Money plant or pothos are one of the easiest plants to propagate. It grows fast in soil as well as in water. Let's learn how to propagate it in water.
What all you need:
- A healthy money plant
- Clean scissors
- A clean glass container
How to propagate
- Choose a healthy stem and cut few cuttings. Every cutting should have a leaf and a node attached to it. Roots will emerge from this node.
2. Now clean the glass container thoroughly & add your cuttings. Make sure you are changing water every week.
3. In a span of 8-10 days you can see roots emerging out of the nodes. Its a sign that your money plant is actively growing.
4. Remove any cuttings which are rotten & couldn't survive.
5. You can either let your cuttings grow in water or can move them to soil. Cuttings 10-12 days days old are ready to move to soil.
